Terms of Service & API Agreement
Legal terms governing token deposit billing, scale-to-zero operational SLAs, and acceptable use policies for Indxflow DBaaS.
1. Minimum Deposit & Billing Terms
Indxflow operates on a pay-as-you-go tokenized float monetization model. By using our DBaaS platform, you agree to the following billing conditions:
- Minimum Deposit: Initial token top-up starts from $2.00 USD (which grants 200,000 🪙 credits). We support custom deposit amounts equal to or greater than $2.00.
- Conversion Rate & Margin: Exchange rate is fixed at $1.00 = 100,000 🪙 ($1/mo margin).
- Non-Refundable Token Credits: Purchased token balance is non-refundable once credited to your account, except where required by mandatory law.
- Token Burn Rates:• SELECT query: 1 token / execution
• INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE query: 5 tokens / execution
• DDL schema change: 10 tokens / execution
• Active Storage: 10 tokens / MB / hour
2. Scale-to-Zero & Zero Balance Lock
Scale-to-Zero Mechanism (HTTP 402)
When your token balance reaches 0 🪙, Indxflow automatically triggers a write-lock for your tenant database. Incoming SQL write operations will be safely rejected with an HTTP status 402 Payment Required standard RFC 7807 payload. Your database schema and existing data remain completely safe and stored for up to 30 days of zero balance before cold archiving.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to use Indxflow DBaaS for any prohibited or illegal activities, including but not limited to:
- Hosting or distributing illegal data, stolen credentials, or malware.
- Executing cryptocurrency mining operations, arbitrary binary execution, or CPU abuse on PostgreSQL engines.
- Initiating Denial of Service (DDoS), brute-force password attacks, or automated API abuse against Indxflow edge endpoints.
Violation of the AUP results in immediate API key revocation and tenant schema suspension without refund.
4. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Data Backups
99.9% Uptime Commitment
We target 99.9% availability for the Rust API Gateway and database cluster. Planned maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance.
Automated Daily Backups
Daily NVMe storage snapshots are automatically taken and encrypted at rest. Point-in-time recovery is available upon support request.
